About me
Originally trained as a journalist, my curiosity and inquisitiveness are what drive me in my second career as a researcher. My academic journey focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of corruption, particularly in the context of governance and climate finance. I am passionate about exploring how corruption emerges, evolves, and impacts societies, using both qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover patterns and insights.
With my work I try to bridge theory and practice, aiming to contribute not only to academic discussions but also to actionable solutions that promote transparency and accountability. By combining interdisciplinary approaches with robust methodologies, I strive to address the multifaceted challenges posed by corruption, providing a comprehensive perspective that informs policy and practice alike.
This blend of investigative rigor and a commitment to meaningful change defines my research and reflects the core values that have guided my career—from journalism to academia.
